It's official!! Worcester Common Ground was selected as one of the winner's out of 1000+ applications in KaBOOM!'s $1Million Play Everywhere Challenge for our Piedmont Plays: Love Your Neighborhood Program. We're so excited to be working with Jacob Hiatt Magnet School students on the Project Tire Makeover aspect, where 4-6th grade students are creating playful art sculptures out of recycled tires. Stay tuned for more photos and updates! The Challenge is hosted by KaBOOM!, a national non-profit dedicated to bringing balanced and active play into the daily lives of all children, particularly those growing up in poverty in America.
