This foreclosed property was purchased by Worcester Common Ground (WCG) in 2008.
Acquired in 2005, 115 Piedmont Street is one of three properties that were originally purchased with the intent of being developed for First Time Homebuyer purposes (this group included 109 and 84 Piedmont Street).
WCG purchased 84 Piedmont in 2006, based on the neighborhood-identified preference for residential use of the building (there had been some discussion of the property being re-zoned for commercial purposes).
Built in the 1890’s, this beautiful, single-family home is one of the few bungalows in Worcester Common Ground’s (WCG) catchment area.
